This section assesses a child's ability to understand and use words and language. It evaluates children's expressive, receptive, and conversational language skills.

This section assesses a child's social interactions with others, their self-control capabilities, emotional regulation abilities, and problem solving skills.
3. Physical health and motor skill development
This section assesses a child's physical health, such as vision and hearing acuity, as well as gross motor skills like walking or hopping on one foot. It also looks at fine motor skills like writing or cutting with scissors.
4. Cognitive domain
This part of the checklist looks at a child's ability to think and reason. It evaluates a child's knowledge of numbers, letters, shapes, colors, and other concepts.
5. Self-Help Skills
This section assesses a child's ability to dress themselves, brush their teeth and hair, handle utensils at mealtime, tie their shoes and complete other daily tasks independently.
6. Creative Expression
This section assesses a child's ability to express themselves through music, art, imaginary play and storytelling. It evaluates their creativity and imagination skills.
7. Readiness for School
This section assesses a child's overall school readiness such as knowledge of the rules of the classroom, ability to follow directions, willingness to work cooperatively with peers and adults, and capacity for self-regulation in different environments.
