2. Sleeping bags and/or bedding:
Be sure to find a sleeping bag or bedding that is specifically designed for colder climates. Look for ones that provide durable insulation, are lightweight and have an outer waterproof layer. Also look for materials that are breathable, quick-drying and won't retain moisture.
3. Paper towels/napkins/toilet paper:
These items can be easily forgotten, but they are invaluable in any camping trip! Make sure to bring extra just in case you need more than expected.
4. Matches or lighter for fire building:
Matches or lighters are essential for starting a campfire. Make sure to bring waterproof matches or a lighter in order to keep them safe from rain and moisture.
5. Portable stove and fuel (if applicable):

It is important to always have a first-aid kit available during any camping trip just in case of an emergency. Be sure to include items such as bandages, antiseptics, tweezers and scissors, as well as any other necessary medical supplies.

In order to cook while camping, bring along the proper cooking equipment. This includes cooking utensils (spatulas, tongs, etc.), pots and pans of different sizes for boiling water or making meals, non-stick griddle pans if using a portable stove, and aluminum foil for wrapping food for grilling or baking over an open fire.

It is important to bring along plenty of clean water for drinking and cooking during your camping trip. Make sure to bring along large, refillable water containers and/or smaller bottles for easy transport.
