5. Familiarize yourself with the Honor Code

6. Know where your classes are located
One of the most important things for new students is knowing where their classes are located. To find out where your classes are, visit MyVCUCard and select "Class Schedule." This will show you a list of all of your upcoming courses along with their locations on campus.
7. Add important phone numbers to your contacts list
It's important to add important phone numbers to your contacts list so that you can easily access them when needed. Some important phone numbers to add include those for campus security, emergency services, and local taxi services. You can find a full list of campus phone numbers on the University website.
8. Purchase textbooks and required materials
In order to be prepared for class, you will need to purchase textbooks and other required materials. To find out what books and materials you need for your courses, visit MyVCUCard and select "Course Materials." This will show you a list of all the books and materials required for your classes. You can then purchase these items online or in person at the VCU Bookstore.
