1. Understand the Test
Research and understand the scope, format, and duration of each AP exam for which you’re registered.
2. Create a Schedule
Map out when and how you will study for each test subject. Include time for rest and breaks to stay mentally fresh.
3. Gather Materials
Gather all materials needed such as textbooks, notes, practice tests, etc., that are necessary to prepare for the exams.
4. Practice Questions
Complete practice questions to gain familiarity with the types of questions on every AP exam. Make sure to review all incorrect answers so that you can identify any weak areas that need additional review or practice.
5. Review Notes
Review notes, textbooks, and other materials before the exam. This will ensure you’re adequately prepared for each subject.
6. Plan Ahead
Make sure to create a plan for the day of your exams - such as when to arrive at the test center, what to bring with you, etc.
7. Stay Calm
In the days leading up to your exams, be sure to relax and stay positive to keep stress levels low on the big day.
8. Review After the Exam
At the end of each test, review your responses and evaluate what worked well and what didn’t. This will help you identify any topics or strategies that need improvement for next time.
