Use sanitizing wipes or spray to clean off any sweat or dirt from fitness machines and equipment after each use.
3. Sanitize Locker Rooms & Showers.
Ensure these spaces are disinfected regularly with an EPA-approved cleaner or bleach solution; replace towels as needed.
4. Disinfect Door Handles & Light Switches.
Germs can easily spread through contact, so be sure these touchpoints are wiped down frequently with a fresh cloth and cleaning product.
5. Empty Trash Cans.
Ensure all waste is disposed of properly and replace liners regularly.
6. Clean Mirrors & Glass Surfaces.
Use a glass cleaner or window spray to wipe down mirrors, windows, and other glass surfaces in the gym.
7. Vacuum Carpeted Areas.
Use a vacuum cleaner on any carpeted floors or areas within the gym to get rid of dust, dirt, and debris that may have accumulated over time.
8. Disinfect Gym Towels.
Make sure towels are washed with hot water and bleach after each use to kill germs and bacteria that may be lingering on them.
