1. Clothes to wear home:
A loose fitting shirt and pants, comfortable shoes: Make sure to pack clothing that is comfortable and easy to move in. You will want to be comfortable when you go home after giving birth.
2. Nursing bra and pads:
If you are planning on breastfeeding your baby, be sure to pack a nursing bra and pads.
3. Underwear and socks:
It is always important to have a change of clothes, especially when you are going to the hospital. Pack some underwear and socks so you can feel fresh and clean.
4. A robe or large shirt:
When you are in the hospital, you will likely not want to be wearing your clothes from earlier that day. Bring a robe or large shirt to wear instead.
5. Toiletries:
shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, razor, deodorant: Be sure to pack your essentials toiletries so you can stay clean and fresh while in the hospital.
6. Snacks:
Granola bars, trail mix, chips and dip: Hospitals can be long and tiring, especially when you are new parents. Be sure to pack snacks so you can keep your energy up!
7. Phone charger:
Make sure to pack your phone charger so you can stay connected with friends and family while in the hospital.
8. Chapstick:
Keep your lips hydrated with some chapstick during your stay in the hospital.
9. Camera to capture those first moments with your newborn baby:
Capture all of the memories of those first few days with your newborn baby by bringing a camera with you to the hospital!
10. Pillow and blanket:
Make yourself comfortable by packing a pillow and blanket for your stay in the hospital
