1. Appropriate Clothing:
Make sure the children have clothing that is suitable for the weather and activity, such as pants or shorts, a t-shirt, and closed-toe shoes.
Ensure that each child has sunscreen applied before going outside to protect them from sunburns and other skin damage.
3. Insect Repellant:
Apply insect repellant to each child prior to going outside in order to avoid bug bites or an allergic reaction.
4. Water Bottle:
Have all children bring a water bottle with them when they go outside so they can stay hydrated while playing outdoors.
5. First Aid Supplies:
Keep a first aid kit on hand in case of minor injuries while outside.
6. Hats or Visors:
Provide hats or visors to children who are sensitive to the sun’s rays in order to further protect them.
7. Appropriate Toys:
Bring outdoor games and toys that are safe for the environment, such as a frisbee, balls, jump ropes, hula hoops and more.
8. Extra Supplies:
If needed, bring extra supplies such as snacks and drinks so each child is able to stay nourished during their time outdoors.
