1. Fever:
An elevated body temperature above the normal range of 98.6°F (37°C).
2. Abdominal Pain:
A sensation of discomfort, distress or agony in the abdomen region that may be localized to one spot but is more often diffuse (spread out over a large area) and can range from mild to severe.
3. Nausea/Vomiting:
The feeling of wanting to vomit or actually vomiting due to an upset stomach or other illness.
4. Diarrhea:
Frequent watery bowel movements with increased frequency compared to a person's usual pattern can cause dehydration and electrolyte imbalances if not appropriately managed.
5. Headache:
A general term for pain anywhere in the head, typically on both sides of the head, that may be accompanied by nausea or other symptoms.
6. Anorexia:
A decreased appetite and/or lack of desire to eat food.
7. Weight Loss:
Unwanted weight loss is caused by an inability to absorb nutrients and/or a decrease in caloric intake.
8. Fatigue:
A feeling of exhaustion or lack of energy is often experienced after physical activity or during times of stress.
9. Muscle/Joint Pain:
Muscular aches and joint pain due to inflammation, overuse, and/or injury can range from mild to severe.
10. Skin Rash/Lesions:
Visible changes in the skin such as redness, bumps, blisters, etc. are often accompanied by itching and/or burning sensations.
11. Anemia:
A deficiency in red blood cells or hemoglobin can cause fatigue, pale skin, dizziness, and other symptoms.
12. Night Sweats:
Excessive sweating during the night that is not caused by a fever or extreme heat.
13. Cough/Sore Throat:
A dry or wet cough accompanied by a sore throat can be caused by a virus, allergies, and/or other illnesses.
14. Congestion:
A feeling of discomfort due to an accumulation of mucus in the nose, chest, and/or throat that can cause difficulty breathing.
15. Swelling:
Abnormal swelling or enlargement in the body can be caused by injury, disease, or an allergic reaction.
16. Chest Pain:
A discomfort in the center of the chest that may spread to other areas of the body and is often associated with heart conditions.
17. Shortness of Breath:
Feeling out of breath after minimal activity due to an inability to take in enough air when inhaling.
18. Confusion/Disorientation:
A feeling of being disoriented or confused about one's location, period, etc., as well as difficulty concentrating or understanding directions/instructions.
