8. Learn About On-Campus Safety Resources
The University of Oregon offers a range of safety resources on campus, such as the UO Police Department and student escorts. It is important for new students to become familiar with these services.
9. Prepare for Financial Aid Deadlines
Incoming freshmen should take care to familiarize themselves with the financial aid process and prepare for relevant deadlines.
10. Explore the Campus & Connect with Other Students
New students are encouraged to explore all that the University of Oregon has to offer, both in and out of the classroom. It is also important to connect with other students right away in order to build relationships and create a supportive community.
